«ПРАВДИВЫЕ ЗАПИСИ О МОНГОЛАХ ЦИНСКОЙ ИМПЕРИИ» КАК ИСТОЧНИК ПО ИСТОРИИ МОНГОЛЬСКОГО БУДДИЗМА

Статья посвящена обзору истории монгольского буддизма на основе памятника «Правдивые записи о монголах Цинской империи». Выявлена роль буддийских священнослужителей в установлении и укреплении маньчжуро-монгольских отношений. Дана оценка деятельности Чаган-ламы, основателя линии перерожденцев, постоянно пребывающих в Пекине. Отмечено, что несмотря на формат изложения и отрывочность сведений по истории монгольского буддизма, «Правдивые записи» являются важным источником, отражающим трансформацию взглядов маньчжурских императоров на буддийскую религию и лам: от терпимости к поддержке, от пренебрежения до возвышения.

«TRUE RECORDS ABOUT MONGOLS OF THE QING DYNASTY» AS A SOURCE ON THE HISTORY OF MONGOLIAN BUDDHISM

The article is devoted to a review of the history of Mongolian Buddhism based on the monument «True records of the Mongols of the Qing Empire». The role of Buddhist clergy in the establishment and strengthening of Manchu-Mongolian relations is revealed. An estimation of the activities of Chagan Lama, the founder of the line of reincarnations constantly residing in Beijing, is given. It is noted that despite the format and fragmentary information on the history of Mongolian Buddhism, the «True Records» is an important source reflecting the transformation of the views of the Manchu emperors on the Buddhist religion and lamas: from tolerance to support, from neglect to veneration.
